How to Play Mega Shark

Steer the shark with arrow keys or WASD. Swimming is momentum-based - turns have weight, so lead targets rather than chasing directly.

Boost with a dedicated key to accelerate into attacks. Boosting into prey or boats deals contact damage and shreds them quickly.

Eat to refill health. Fish, swimmers, and other creatures restore HP when consumed; letting health drain from hunger or hazards ends the run.

Chain kills quickly to build combo multipliers. Successive eats within a short window multiply your score - sustained chaos outscores isolated kills.

Tips & Strategies

Lead your targets. The shark's mass means instant direction changes aren't possible - anticipate where prey will be and cut their path.

Boost into clusters. Groups of fish or swimmers shred faster with a boost, and the rapid kills stack combo multipliers.

Don't ignore your health bar. Eating refills it, but if you get focused by mines or military responses, retreat to safer waters and feed to recover.

Watch for escalating threats. The longer your rampage, the more resistance appears - mines, boats, and predators that can actually hurt you.

About Mega Shark

Mega Shark puts you in control of a massive shark terrorizing the ocean. You swim, you bite, you eat - fish, swimmers, boats, whatever crosses your path. The goal is to cause as much destruction and rack up as high a score as possible before the shark's health runs out.

The controls are momentum-based swimming. You steer with directional input and boost with a separate button, and the shark's mass means turns have weight - you can't snap direction instantly, so positioning for attacks requires leading your target. Boosting into a school of fish or a boat shreds it on contact.

Health drains from hunger and from hazards - mines, bigger predators, military responses that escalate as your rampage continues. Eating refills health, which creates the core loop: keep eating to stay alive while the threats around you intensify.

Combo multipliers reward chains of quick kills. Eat a cluster of swimmers in succession and the multiplier climbs, multiplying your score. Sustained chaos is the path to high scores, and the escalating resistance keeps it from being mindless.
